The Nike Air Yeezys Are Expected To Drop In March

Nike Air Yeezy Highs have appeared in over 4 color ways during media shoots and public appearances. The Kanye West shoe will be made in premium leather with perforated air hole breathing in the upper body split of the shoe. Straps across the mid body of the Air Yeezy will be in patent leather on most the releases. The strap will end with a glow in the dark, transparent, logo bubble that’s made to catch the shoe laces.

Nike reported to the Nike Air Yeezys web site that the shoe will release March 2009. Many, including the NikeAirYeezys.com site founder, expect pairs to leak before their official release. Kanye West has made few comments about the shoe directly, but inside sources say the rapper has a very specific plan for their release and he demands to have control of its release schedule and store placement.

Al Queda Throws Insults At Barack Obama

Al Qaeda’s No. 2 leader is heard in a Web posting Wednesday warning President-elect Barack Obama that “a heavy legacy of failure and crimes awaits” him.

The message said Obama represents the “direct opposite of honorable black Americans” like Malcolm X.
The speaker also said Obama, former and current secretaries of state Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice, and “your likes” fit Malcolm X’s description of “house slaves.” The English translation of the message used the term “House Negroes,” Malcolm X’s term for blacks who were subservient to whites.

Having killed it on the collabo front this year, last time you were in the studio for your own music?

I was just talking to my DJ the other night because I’m working on a solo album at the moment and I’m so excited. I just want to hear some new music from myself, but I’m not a fast writer. I envy every rapper out right now because they write so fast. Lil Wayne, T.I., Game… I wish I could have that much output. But I’m hoping it will be out the top of next year and I’m hoping it will be a rap album.

I really pray that it’s rap because that’s what I’m feeling right now. I have a couple of titles, and a couple of concepts, but it really depends on the music. When I’m 75/ 80% done, I’ll know.

Rapper Mentions Shooting Someone & Gets 20 Years

He shot a man twice and felt so good about it, police said, a rapper wrote a song describing the shooting and calling out the victim by name. A judge sentenced 25-year-old Rico Todriquez Wright Monday to spend the next 20 years in prison after his victim mentioned the hip hop confession to police.

Chad Blue, 28, told police he had known Wright before the September 2006 shooting, but that the men weren’t friendly. He testified companions egged Wright on as he chased and shot his victim in the thigh and groin. Later, Blue told police he recognized Wright’s voice on a CD, rapping “Chad Blue knows how I shoot.” Wright was sentenced to 20 years for two counts of aggravated assault. He will spend another 20 years on probation.

Damn that's crazy!...But then again he did dry snitch on himself, watch what you say on them rap records. THEY are listening!

W.T.F!...Eminem Voted As The Best Rapper Alive Over Jay-Z

VIBE has today announced Eminem as the winner of the Best Rapper Alive competition. The Detroit native beat out New York’s rap king Jay-Z in the Final Round with 69 percent of the votes, crowning him as the people’s choice for the true king of hip hop. The results of the contest are detailed in VIBE’s November 2008 issue hitting newsstands October 21st.

“It’s obviously an honor to have won the fans’ support by being voted the Best Rapper Alive,” says Eminem in response to his victory. “I don’t think that there is any one rapper that is simply the best though. Everyone who was in consideration and many others are the best at certain things, and at what they do. But since Vibe’s offering the distinction, hell yeah I’ll accept!”

More than 920,000 votes were cast since the contest began on July 21, 2008.

Don't get me wrong Em is a dope lyricist and a great songwriter but better than Jay -Z?....Em hasn’t even dropped an album since 2004 and he is put over Jay-Z?
